Havaru Foari Concluded Successfully

Havaru Foari is the talk of the town during the last couple of days in Ramadan. After a quiet month for CHOCO during Ramadan, in terms of programs, the NGO was taking an active part in organizing a grand program to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with elders and inspiring youth in the island.

CHOCO's endorsement brought in several qualities to the program, including sponsorship and large assistance in planning and coordination of the event.

Havaru Foari Eid Celebrations included a rowing race, Bailabalaa, tug of war, show of Maali Parade and Bodu Mas, a cultural music show and a children's evening. These events gained huge support from the public.

CHOCO announces that more sequences of Havaru Foari will continue during the eid festivities in future. However, there are several challenges and lessons learned from the current chapter and CHOCO hopes to improve the program even further.
